Our Mission

To enrich the character and leadership development of each person who has a Manito-wish experience by challenging them to grow in wisdom, in stature, in favor with God, and in favor with one another.

Our Vision

The Manito-wish experience develops confident, responsible and enlightened leaders who will improve the world in which they live.

Manito-wish has over 92 years of experience in wilderness tripping and program activities which have enriched the leadership skills of our staff and the campers we serve. Many of our staff continue to be successful in their careers, family, and community because of the leadership training and experience gained through working at Camp Manito-wish YMCA.

Join us at Camp Manito-wish! You will gain personal confidence and skils that can transfer into any career field of your choice. Most importantly, you will influence the participants in your care by providing a lifelong and enriching experience.
