Wilderness Trips

Tall trees, scenic waterways, the fun of camping, cooking at the campsite, "the Trail" is amazing! The wilderness trip is where much of each camper's growth and learning happens. Life lessons are taught on the canoe trips through the experience of the most basic day-to-day activities amid natural surroundings. The majority of campers participate in canoeing trips. Older campers have the option to try a backpacking or sea kayaking trip experience.
Campers and staff members will pack food and equipment before heading out from Camp. During the trip, they will travel by water or trail to their next wilderness campsite, set up camp, cook their meals over campfires or camp stoves and enjoy time getting to know themselves and one another. Time on the trail is determined by session length and campers age.
