Family Camp

August 16 - 21, 2012

Family Camp is a time for the entire family to experience Camp Manito-wish and to be campers! This is a week of fun and family growth. Families live in a cabin, eat great meals in the dining hall, and have the opportunity to participate in the different program areas. Whether you have experienced Manito-wish before or not, Family Camp quickly brings people of similar interests together for an exciting week.

The Program

Manito-wish Family Campers have the opportunity to enjoy all the activities that our youth campers enjoy during our summer camp sessions, with instruction offered in most areas.

You are encouraged to participate or take "free time" according to your personal preference.

Meal times are at 8:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

The program will be a combination of planned activities (optional) and free time. Each day, a variety of activities will be offered in the morning, afternoon and evening.

             

The Activities

Waterfront activities on Boulder Lake including canoeing, sailing, row-boating, kayaking, fishing and swimming.

Overnight and two-day canoe adventures through some of the hundreds of Vilas County lakes and rivers.

Relaxing beside an evening campfire, laughing along at skit night, or quietly contemplating the August night sky.

Women's Weekend

September 21 - 23, 2012

Women's Weekend allows you an opportunity to step away from the hustle and bustle of life at home. Come and join us for a relaxing and adventure-filled weekend. Activities will include canoeing, hiking, special craft projects, morning meditation, yoga and much more. You may choose to participate in all of the programs offered or choose to sit by the fire and read a good book.

You will stay in Schwartz Lodge where bedrooms and bathrooms are newly remodeled. Two to four women will share a room and bathroom.

FEES: $225 per person

Fees include:

Program, lodging, and meals (Friday dinner through Sunday lunch).

Fall Family Weekend

September 28 - 30, 2012

Bring your family and friends to experience our Fall Family Weekend. Parents, children, grandparents, aunts & uncles... bring the whole family!

This weekend is designed for you and your family to enjoy the fall activities of Camp Manito-wish and the Northwoods

You may share a cabin with one other family.

FEES: $210 (12 and older), $125 (ages 3 -12), kids under three are free.

Fees include:

Program, lodging, and meals (Friday dinner through Sunday lunch)
