O.k....so the preceeding photos give you an idea of how much work was done this week...incredible! Below zero every morning!

If you were at Camp this week, you would have heard just about every type of construction noise possible. This was the week of large machinery...several end-loaders, large dumptrucks and a huge crane. This week we installed the septic tank. You will see...this isn't your average size tank!

Three semis delivered this tank and weights for the crane. Compare the size of the top half of the tank to the cars.

The tank was so heavy, 52,000 pounds of weight were placed on the crane for stability.

Progress on Shorewood continues...

Hopefully, if you're familiar with the North end of Camp, these photos will give you an idea of where the new cabin will be.

Winter is here! The crews continue their excellent work, even in below zero windchills.

Excavation has started for the new Shorewood cabin. First photos are below.

Hopefully, if you're familiar with the North end of Camp, these photos will give you an idea of where the new cabin will be.

In the photo to the immediate left, the original Shorewood is

the first cabin behind the dig.

As you can see, the work has been moving right along. Whatever part of the process--design work, demolition and excavation, roofing, building and pouring forms, and the log work...the skills and attention to detail are outstanding. Our Nash Lodge is in great hands.

Check in next week for more updates!
