Anne
Derber, Executive Director
I wanted my child to meet
new friends, have a great wilderness tripping
experience, and have her confidence grow
in an environment very different from school
and home.
Her experience at Manito-wish
far exceeded my expectations.

Our 91st summer is here!
Summer Camp and Outpost are in full swing. The sounds of campers laughing, playing
and growing together resonate over Boulder Lake and through the tall pines.
Over the next several weeks young lives will be transformed through building friendships,
facing the challenges and enjoying the rewards of wilderness travel, developing skills in program areas, and so much more.
All of this taking place under the canopy of star-filled skies, in clear and beautiful
waterways and the stunning landscape of the Northwoods.
We are happy to share this experience with so many fine young people.
Break Out the Oars!
